3. Types of Estimates

    A. Program Phase:

The Program Phase cost estimate will consist of a breakdown of the facility's different functional areas and applicable unit costs per gross square foot of area. Projects with very low detailed plans will have a low and high unit cost range to account for the many unknowns at this stage of the project.

  B. Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Document Phase:  

The SD, DD and 95% CD Phase cost estimates will consist of detailed quantity take-offs and current market place bidding climate unit costs.

All 16 divisions will be broken down in detail with notes, assumptions, and calculations shown on the estimate.

  C. Contractor Quantity Take-Offs:

PPM can perform detailed quantity take-offs for General Contractors, Earthwork, Demolition, Masonry, Concrete, Metals/Steel, Waterproofing, Interior Finishes, and Mechanical Contractors.

Spreadsheets can be set up to accommodate your bidding requirements and will also be clearly broken down
